Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 27, 2026
1. Who we are
Billcraft (“we”, “us”) provides an online invoicing workspace for freelancers and businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process when you use our website and application, and what choices you have.
2. Information we collect
We may collect: • Account data: name, email address, authentication identifiers, and subscription status. • Business data you enter: company profiles, client records, invoice content, line items, tax details, and PDF settings. • Billing data: Stripe customer and subscription references. Payment card details are processed by Stripe, not stored on our servers. • Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, access logs, and security events needed to operate and protect the service. • Support communications you send to us.
3. How we use information
We use data to provide and improve invoicing features, authenticate users, process subscriptions, deliver customer support, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, and send service-related notices (for example billing or security alerts).
Social sign-in may use Google or Facebook. Those providers process data under their own policies. Facebook-specific deletion instructions are available at Facebook user data deletion.
4. Legal bases and sharing
We process data to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests (such as security and product improvement), and comply with law where required. We share data with subprocessors that help us run the service—for example hosting, email delivery, payment processing (Stripe), and optional e-invoicing integrations (SEF, PEPPOL) when you enable them. We do not sell personal data.
5. Retention and deletion
Retention depends on your account type and plan. Guest sessions and free-tier workspaces may be deleted after the configured retention period. Paid subscribers retain data while the subscription is active, subject to applicable law. You may request account deletion or export through support channels in the application. Some records may be kept where required for billing, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
6. Your rights and contact
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights or ask privacy questions, contact the Billcraft team through the support channels available in your workspace.
